We knew we wanted our new home to look like a model home but decorating is not my thing. I didn't know what to expect, using a decorator, and was honestly a little worried about getting the side-eye for what little décor we had. But Julie put us totally at ease and working with her has been such a pleasure. She is friendly, a great listener and has an amazing decorator's eye. She was able to work in the aesthetic we wanted and make it a nice mix of masculine and feminine styles so that both my husband and I are represented in each room. She created very comfortable, livable spaces while giving us the wow-factor we were hoping for, all while keeping within our budget. Julie is amazing at finding just the right pieces, big and small, and putting it all together for a wonderful, polished look. I highly recommend working with Julie.
Julie is truly gifted. She completely transformed our living room into finally a cozy, homey and inviting space while working with many pieces that we already had. AND kept in mind our 2 small children while she was out looking for things to complement our room. She really did an amazing job coordinating colors, textures and just the overall mood that I finally wanted for our space-and within our budget! It's amazing what she can find. Our living room is my favorite room in the house! can't wait for her to work on the rest!

Julie did a fabulous job on decorating my office. She really listened to the atmosphere I wanted to create for my clients. I have received so many compliments on the new décor. One client even told me he had a place for my new rug, when I was ready to get rid of it. Fortunately for me, that will not be any time soon. I could not be happier with my new space.
Julie did a fantastic job of redecorating my living area. I was overwhelmed by doing this task myself, and Julie came in and made it so much easier and stress free! Julie is very creative in her use of colors, patterns and textures. She met with me to discuss my likes and dislikes of color and style. From there she did all the shopping and put together the end result which was beautiful! Julie is a fun, very professional designer who I had the pleasure to work with, and will call on her expertise once again in the near future!
Julie came to my rescue when I had a beautiful reclaimed wood treatment on my wall. Blank canvas for a gallery wall! Easy right? No, not easy - I couldn't figure out where to start. I was stuck. Top? Bottom? Big pictures? Small items? Thank you, Julie, for showing me how to work from the middle on out. It turned out just gorgeous!

Having closed on a vacation home in early December with plans to entertain by Christmas, it was imperative we furnish and at least modestly appoint it in a matter of weeks. Enter Julie Baten, who quite literally saved our holiday. She helped us mold a concept for our home and guided us to purchase decisions that kept our furnishings both consistent and meaningful. We were able to entertain as planned and wow our guests with how much we accomplished in such a short time frame.
We have continued to work with Julie in the months since and remain completely satisfied with her input and vision. Although I may be a frazzled wreck with ideas running in multiple directions, she remains a calm and focused presence, always with an eye for the end result.
