About Julie

Born in Missouri but raised in Houston, I consider myself a true Texan and lover of all things Southern – especially Tex-Mex food and the friendly folks in this large, diverse city I’m so blessed to call home.​

I worked for years in administrative and support staff positions in the private sector in several different industries. No matter the business size, team or individual I supported, I was recognized for my style, strong organizational skills and ability to work with all personality types. From these working experiences, I realized that I could help others beautify and simplify their spaces and lives.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping, organizing and decorating, having learned from one of the best – my mom. She was a seamstress, floral designer, fine art seller, gourmet cook and interior decorator. She started her own business at my same age, where she specialized in custom window treatments, and continued working well into her 70’s. I share all of her same passions.
